October 4th is National Cinnamon Bun Day. Take a moment today to visit your local bakery or donut shop and indulge in a warm, gooey cinnamon bun. Try looking around for related discounts as well, you never know when you’ll happen upon a free sticky bun on the way to work or to the park. There’s nothing quite as soothing as a nice warm cup of coffee and a warm cinnamon bun.
Originating in Sweden, this holiday is widely celebrated in Scandinavian countries. All the bakeries there have been busy prepping all week for this big day, we’re taking 1000s of buns per bakery. Today, Swedish people will eat over 9 million cinnamon buns!
