Has it been one of those weeks? Can you see Friday yet? You’ve been searching for Friday but it’s only Wednesday and the only thing you can see is a big ole’ Humpday looming with its urgent requests, rejections, and customers panicking. Don’t worry, you’re not alone!

Most of us have been there and have shared your sentiments. When the day seems impossible and you’re not sure how you plan to finish the week on a positive note, keep your head up. Obviously, things could be better, but they could also be much worse. Try these tips to help you make it through the rest of the week:

  • Stay positive: Things could almost always be worse. Someone somewhere has it way worse than you do at this moment.
  • Be helpful: Other folks feel the same as you. Pay it forward or lend a hand. You’ll instantly feel better about your own situation when you improve someone else’s.
  • Have intent: Move about your day with a purpose. Anxiety will decrease as you complete important tasks. Strive for completion today so you’ll feel better tomorrow.
  • De-stress: Get some exercise. Attend yoga. Try meditation using the Calm app (or just DIY). Deep breathing also helps. When you hit a wall, take a break.
  • Get it: Strive for success in troubling times. If you want something today, go get it. No one else is going to do it for you. Push yourself!
